Suva Resorts

THE city of Suva is the capital of Fiji Islands and is located on the southern coastline of the country's main island. A scenic coastal highway - the Queen's Highway - connects the capital with the international airport at Nadi in the northwest. Between Nadi and Suva can be found the popular tourist destinations of the Coral Coast and Pacific Harbour. There are many Fiji travel destinations.

Suva is a vibrant commercial centre, not only for Fiji but for the whole of the South Pacific. It is the centre of Fiji government and has a large port, university, medical centres, business offices, sports stadium, shops, restaurants and cinemas. A visit to the Fiji Museum provides an interesting glimpse into the past history, culture and traditions of the Fijian people.

Most Fiji accommodation here is in the form of hotels, motels and apartments. Resort style amenities are provided by the larger properties. Predominantly a business centre, the city nevertheless attracts many international visitors who arrive for sightseeing or to attend a music festival or sporting event.
